WBO coordinates and supports the mission of entrepreneurs and internal auditors of BASC Pichincha (Quito, Ecuador), in Washington D.C.

World BASC Organization, was pleased to coordinate and support several meetings in Washington, D.C. on the occasion of the business mission and meeting of the BASC Internal Auditors, led by the BASC Pichincha chapter of Ecuador.

In a special way, Fermín Cuza, International President of WBO, presided over the welcome and opened the agenda of the mission. World BASC Organization together with the businessmen, held several meetings and meetings with the United States Customs (CBP), the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE) of the Organization of American States (OAS), the Association of American Chambers of Comercio (AACCLA), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Embassy of Ecuador in Washington and the firm Sandlers and Travis, with the aim of strengthening relations between BASC, international organizations and experts in international trade.

Likewise, during the meeting, a presentation was given by Mr. Allen Gina, from CT Strategies, experts in customs and international trade, who presented a history and evolution of the key events in the development of the concept of border security. , starting with BASC, C-TPAT, Marco SAFE (FOS) and the OAS program, while Mr. John Ryan, former CBP official, presented a mini-workshop on methods of drug smuggling and talked about key events and meetings with businessmen during the development of the history of BASC under the ACSI program during the years 1998-2001.
